During his work as a Funeral Director, Dave has identified a need for discrete PA’s for funerals where churches, or other venues, are not large enough to accommodate large congregations of mourners.

Westcountry Event Services will position microphones at key locations within the venue. This will capture all aspects of the service and relay the audio to speakers positioned both inside and outside, to allow attendees to hear the full content with absolute clarity.

We can also provide digital audio playback of any music required for processional and retiring music, reflective music and hymns.

All systems will be discretely installed, with full consultation of the family, Funeral Directors and the venue.  This will be operated with professionalism and reverence. Being a Funeral Director himself, Dave will be dressed accordingly and he will conduct himself in the expected manner, with professional experience in this important field of work.

An example of providing sound at a funeral service required the installation of a multi-microphone setup for a large Shanty band, of whom the deceased was a member. They sang several songs to honour their friend. Westcountry Event Services sound engineered their performance for the congregation, both inside and outside the church.
